Bunny and I woke up at 5:15 AM and were out the door by 5:40. It’s amazingly easy to get ready when you can’t wear any make up or jewelry.  We got to Moffitt in plenty of time and got ready for the surgery with a lovely nurse. She has been working in the medical field for 19 years while raising five children including twin boys. Pretty amazing woman. Anyway, after we got on my gown and my compression sock stockings, I was ready to go. I don’t  remember any of the operation but recovered from the anesthesia just fine. We rode home in a raging rain storm and I went straight to bed. I am back on liquid/soft diet.  All in all,not a terrible thing to go through. The hard part now is waiting five business days to hear the news.
