Today I learned about the two kinds of pink eye. Did you know it can be caused either by bacteria or viruses? Viral basically means you have a cold in your eye — in fact, you’ll often have it along with a cold or upper respiratory infection. Bacterial pink eye often occurs along with an ear or strep infection. It usually causes a lot more mucus and irritation than other pink eye causes. I was diagnosed with viral pink eye this morning. All there is to do is wait for it to run its course. Yahoo

Hans and I met Elaine and Jim for lunch. They are visiting from Wilmington, NC. Elaine was my college roommate at VA Tech for a year. After lunch, Elaine and Jim brought their young rescue dog to visit our home. I am happy to report that Indie did well with both Baxter and Roxy.

The rest of the day has sucked. Pain and sticky eyes. I’m couch bound. Tomorrow, tomorrow…..
