Dr Berry, I am having a CT scan today to try to figure out why I am having round-the clock pain and chemo symptoms. My last chemo was 12-20-22.

Please take a peek at the scans as soon as possible and call me. Your schedule is not open for me until Monday and I do not want to wait 5 days if there is immediate action we should take (starting my pill chemo or having surgery).

I brought that note with me to my appointment this morning. Thanks to some help from the front desk, I have secured a 4:45 pm appointment for tomorrow.

I was able to drive myself to my appointment and complete the scan with a minimum of discomfort. I’m still bloated today, but having a lot less pain. I am eager to find out if there’s been any changes and what about the path ahead might look like…at least in the short term. Day by day, right?

On the pet front, I was happy to hear that Delilah came through her surgery well. Even better, one of the staff from the surgery center might adopt her! Fingers crossed.
