Another beautiful day in Florida with a high of 77 degrees. I was enjoying the cooler weather, but can’t complain when I see what the rest of the country is putting up with. Brrr! I will have to buy some shorts since my old ones are too big and too long. Now that the cancer has mysteriously disappeared the cellulite that plagued my thighs, I am feeling confident enough to wear shorter shorts. Oh cancer — you give and you take!

We had a lovely lunch with Dr. Becky and Tom at Riverhouse Reef & Grill. My diet is completely opposite of what I used to eat. Gone are the salads, fare-thee-well whole grains, goodbye all nuts, no tomatoes for me! My cancer does dictate my diet but no worries…the lobster pot pie was a lovely substitute. The weirdest thing is that I am not sure what foods, if any, I CAN add back to my diet. The only way to tell would be by experimenting but I’m not convinced the potential pain is worth it.
