The pain is gone. In retrospect, I think it might have been some over-the-counter medication I had tried …at any rate, it’s lovely to live without pain. I had fun being a grandma this morning, in charge while Hans and Annelise went to church.

We made chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes, the girls jumped on my bed while I was putting on my make up, we played with the kittens and went over to read some books in the guest house together.   

I just had a really nice FaceTime with Zach and Caro who called to tell me about their plans to go to Ecuador in March for their one year anniversary. Best of all they are going to the Galapagos which was my number one on my bucket list.  I plan to live vicariously.
