Happy Thanksgiving. This morning we have seen dolphins, played with Kittens and taken the girls to the beach at Emerson point where we played the sand and they waded in the water
Now it’s time for a little rest before Thanksgiving meal. Hans has slaved over the turkey and Judith is bringing the rest of the dinner. It’s so great to have a sister who cooks and who enjoys it 🙂

Thanksgiving dinner was a huge success. Food was delicious and all of us grown-ups had so much fun playing with the two girls. They had awoken from their naps in shy moods but by dinner time they were literally running around the house chasing each other and giggling.
Tom and Judith played enthusiastically with them which somehow entailed Tom being a scary Bear in a box.
Funny story of the day….
The grownups are all sitting round the dinner table while the girls play gleefully. The subject of our conversation turns to our sibling relationships when we were little. Annelise asks Judith and I, who are 21 months apart, about our childhood. We explain that we were very close growing up but didn’t really like each other as teenagers because we were so different. Judith was a straight arrow, following rules even when no one was watching. She described me as a teenager who wanted “to try everything,”
A description I can’t argue with.
“ How are you different today?” asks Annelise. I thought for a moment and said that while Judith is a very private person. I am not. Judith, who was sipping her wine, apparently thought this was the understatement of the century and released a spray of vino that shot across the table with such velocity that she managed to soak both Hans and Me😂.
