This morning I returned a phone call to Myra, who is Dr Dineen’ assistant at Moffit . She had left a voice message for me to call her on Friday but I didn’t get it in time to return the call. Honestly, I was a little worried about the reason for the call but it turned out that the Doctor wants to know where I am in the chemo cycle and when I’ll be done so we can meet and schedule “the awful surgery.” Frankly, Hans and I are not sure we want to do the surgery so I told Myra that I would get back to her once I know more. I don’t really want to go into the details about the surgery because it’s very scary, so I’ll stop there.🥶
Later in the morning, I got a call from the woman who adopted Penelope. She sadly concluded that her heart is not healed from the loss of her other dog and is bringing Ms. P back. Paddington will be SO happy. Hans and plan on taken a video of the moment that the siblings are reunited. I would like to add the iconic song Reunited, by Peaches and Herb to the video but I’m sure it’s copyrighted 🙂
Unexpected things constantly pop up in Rescue, as they do in life and I am nonplussed. Everything seems to happen for a reason and I’m sure both pups will get great homes soon.

The three musketeers are back together!
We had a spontaneous phone call from our friends Mike and Lee and met them for dinner.
A good time was had by all. Isn’t it nice to have friends who can make spontaneous plans?

Tomorrow, I start chemo again so my spontaneity may be limited for the next week. We’ll take it day by day, of course!
