I got fluids this morning and feel better. Some little bouts of pain but all I am taking is extra strength Tylenol.
While I was at the cancer center, Amanda, the young nurse I have previously introduced you to, and I chatted about journaling and how inspirational quotes can help us get through things. She absolutely loves inspirational quotes and has an app that sends her a daily one. They helped her very much when she was moving and starting a new job and getting married, it was a very lovely visit with us exchanging our favorite quotes.

Happy would be 90th birthday, dad.
Our family has a group text called kiddos where we can share things amongst the seven of us. On this anniversary of dad’s would be birthday. I posted the following picture. The picture is from when we lived in Tulsa and the boys were one, three, and five years old.

In response, Jake posted his favorite picture (remember he is a web designer, and very proficient on the computer)

His accompanying comments were
“Miss that guy. Thankfully my last photo of him was so sweet.”
Caro, the newest member of our tribe appropriately posted “Dear God”. Welcome to our family, Caro!
Moving on…Today I ordered some books on colon cancer and one of them provided me with valuable advice for the times that fear begins to overwhelm me.
