Today was a great day and a great evening. I woke up just in time to greet son, Brenden and granddaughter Abby. They are still without power and were very happy to be able to bathe and be fed. I had enough energy to help Brenden help me with stacking the palm leaves and coconuts for county pick up.(whenever that may be.). I had enough energy to go for a walk to the end of the block.(my first walk in a long time.) and I had enough energy to enjoy playing with the puppies on this beautiful, 75° day.

At 6:30 PM, our friends, Tom and Becky arrived, bearing a delicious dinner, and we had fun catching up and reminiscing.  They have been so supportive and Hans and I are very appreciative of their friendship.

Penelope and Paddington joined us at the end of the evening, and although I offered our guests a buy one get one free puppy deal, (kidding) they politely declined.
