The Results Are In 

It turns out that I was overdramatizing the situation.   I imagined the doctor coming in the room. He sits down quietly next to me, leans a little forward and says “it’s never easy to give someone news like this”

Instead, we discovered that the treatments are working.  That’s the good news.  The rest of the news boils down to this: We’ve come a long way, but have a long way to go.  Doc wants me to do 4 more rounds starting September 13th.   (This will be later pushed to the 19th)

So to sum up…Today was a positive step but just a step towards the unknown still. We were happy to learn that the chemo therapy is working.
