The morning began with delicious and nutritious barium sulfate smoothies. I put them in a nice wine glass and to my surprise they were not chalky or disgusting…just bad. Totally doable. 

Next came the CT scan which was painless and quick. The afternoon started out painful because the barium apparently didn’t agree with my system but after dosing myself with some ThcCbd infused chocolates and some tincture, I feel no pain. In fact, the day has evolved nicely and as I write this I am  sitting out by the water watching dolphins and clouds. The dosages are certainly kicking in because I see all kinds of cloud pictures.

The kids are, of course supportive.

On the group text with my six kiddos, my eldest sends this:

“Turn off the lights, see if you glow” with an accompanying gif of a green glowing alien.

Regarding my thoughts on tomorrow’s meeting, I can honestly say that I am happy no matter what because we are moving ahead. For me,  not knowing what I’m dealing with part  is so much harder than being able to face a tangible reality. That is not to say I’m not scared out of my wits!
